Jeanette May, PhD, MPH
Vice President, Research & Quality

Jeanette May, MPH, PhD, an accomplished health care researcher and statistician, joined the Care Continuum Alliance in February 2006 as the organization launched an ambitious project to develop consensus guidelines on measuring the clinical and financial outcomes of population health improvement programs. Since then, Dr. May has assumed the lead staff role for other key Care Continuum Alliance projects, including development of a participant satisfaction survey; research and resources on obesity with comorbidities; and a buyer's guide for predictive modeling.

Before joining the Care Continuum Alliance, Dr. May served as a faculty member and senior researcher at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine. There, she directed a $3.2 million, four-year Chronic Disease Management federal grant and a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Arthritis Comparison Grant with an $800,000 budget, among other projects. Her other positions have included lecturer and curriculum developer at Judson College, in Elgin, Ill., and senior research analyst at AMCORE Financial Inc., a leading Midwest bank based in Rockord, Ill.

Dr. May holds a doctorate in organization and management from Capella University. She also has a bachelor's degree in communications from Illinois Benedictine College, a master's in public health from Northern Illinois University and a certificate in public health informatics from the University of Illinois.

Karen Moseley
Director, Research

Karen Moseley joined the Care Continuum Alliance as a consultant in August 2007. She manages and supports many of the initiatives within the CCA quality and research agenda, to include the HERO/CCA collaboration, obesity, medication adherence and transitions of care. Since her involvement at the Care Continuum Alliance, Karen has supported the publication of several CCA resources: Managing Disease: A Comprehensive Guide; Outcomes Guidelines Report; Disease Management & Wellness: Results of a Market Research Survey; Provider Satisfaction Survey; and the CCA Obesity Toolkit.

Ms. Moseley holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in addition to 19 years of experience and training in the non-profit field.
